Kid Works Creative Learning Centers state that their mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, educational environment for children and to have a positive impact in the community locally and beyond as children grow and develop into happy, healthy adults who make a positive impact on society. They utilize Creative Curriculum to teach children and have launched a proprietary curriculum framework called BeeCurious, developed with current research in early childhood pedagogy. Their program is designed so children experience success at an early age and promotes a positive self-image through a Creative Learning environment. The large, open classroom layout has designated areas for learning that provide for both quiet and active play, and they emphasize constant and alert supervision in an environment they describe as free from hazards. They state that at Kid Works children experience the joy of learning and feel loved and accepted, and that their philosophy is to put children first and base every decision on what is best for the children in their care. The program proudly accepts Publicly Funded Child Care (PFCC), has an open door policy, holds quarterly parent conferences, hosts classroom parties, and provides parent engagement and educational activities throughout the year. Kid Works Creative Learning Centers are part of the Busy Bees and BrightPath family and are committed, active participants in the Step Up to Quality State of Ohio Star Rating System. They have a strong partnership with 4C’s for Children, the State of Ohio Department of Education, and ODJFS.
