Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati Camps

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati Camps offers Junior Summer Intensive for ages 8–13, a two-week acting fundamentals intensive that includes a full production on ETC’s mainstage. It also offers High School Summer Intensive for ages 14–19, where students audition, rehearse, and perform an original one-act play, plus workshops in improv, acting, audition techniques, character development, and script analysis. For ages 15–19, the program offers Design & Build Technical Theatre Summer Intensive, with design and construction of scenery, costumes, and props, and Backstage Technical Theatre Summer Intensive, which teaches running crew, stage management, lighting, and sound. It also offers Inclusive Improv Summer Camp for ages 14–19, a five half-day improv camp for students with Autism that ends with a performance for friends and family.

• Backstage Technical Theatre Summer Intensive — Ages 15–19 · $325 · One-week intensive that teaches running crew, stage management, lighting, and sound.

• Inclusive Improv Summer Camp — Ages 14–19 · 9:00 am to 1:00 pm · $150 · Five half-day improv camp designed for students with Autism; culminates in a performance for friends and family.

The program’s mission is to ignite students’ imaginations through the collaborative process of theatre, empower them as creative thinkers, and support their development as artists and young adults. The camps are intensives, with students expected to work, play, and collaborate for 8 hours a day. Payment plans and scholarships are available, and no experience in theatre is required for the camps listed.

2026 camp registrations have now closed. The camps are considered intensives. Students who are committed to learning about theatre and willing to work, play, and collaborate for 8 hours a day will get the most out of the camps. Inclusive Improv Summer Camp is designed for students with Autism. The application deadline for 2026-2027 is unrelated apprentice program content and not included.
