School of Rock Columbus Music Programs includes private music lessons, group rehearsals, and live performances at local music venues. Students work on playing classic rock songs while learning chords, rhythm, song structure, melody, and dynamics. The program also includes songwriting, songwriting exercises, lyrical workshops, and recording original songs, as well as the use of simplified rock instruments, hand percussion, and other tools to learn rhythm patterns and music syntax.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Class and lesson options are available on weekdays and weekends, with afternoon and evening times Monday–Friday and daytime options on Saturday and Sunday.

School of Rock was founded as a single school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1998. The leadership team includes Stacey Ryan (President), Sam Dresser (Chief Innovation Officer), Demi Iskandar (Vice President of Marketing), Eric Schmidt (Vice President of Information Technology), and Molly Simms (Vice President of Operational Standards). Its mission statement is that School of Rock is a growing and passionate community dedicated to enriching lives through performance-based music education.
