The Little Gym of Polaris, OH states that it offers parent-child classes for babies and toddlers, gymnastics programs for all skill levels, and birthday parties, and that it believes in “movement with meaning,” with kids who “laugh, leap, and learn in every class—discovering confidence and joy that lasts a lifetime.” The Little Gym brand began when its founder opened the first The Little Gym in 1976 in Bellevue, Washington. The program describes its approach as “Three-Dimensional Learning,” which includes “Get Moving” (developing motor skills, strength, balance, flexibility, agility and coordination through gymnastics), “Citizen Kid” (promoting sharing, teamwork, cooperation and leadership), and “Brain Boost” (nurturing creativity, imagination, concentration and decision-making). It notes a positive, non-competitive spirit, safe spaces for children and parents to explore gymnastics and more, and a global community of families, instructors, and local business owners, along with five flexible membership options.
One parent, Kai Jackson, reports that their daughter loves the program so far and describes the staff as amazing and very attentive. Another parent, Molly Cohen, thanks the “great instructors,” mentioning in particular a Thursday 6 PM class. A third parent, rajni sharma, states that they “absolutely love the Little Gym of Jersey City,” describing the instructors as really talented, full of life, very encouraging, and helpful at each step, and notes that their daughter would attend every day if she could.
