About
uPaint Pottery Studio Classes & Events offers paint your own pottery in a walk-in art studio, with access to an all-inclusive setup of paints, stencils, sponges, decorating supplies, and firing. The program includes a painting session just for preschoolers and toddlers, story time, parties, groups and events, fundraisers, scout troops, and a uPaint To Go option to paint pottery at home and return pieces for firing at no additional cost. Customers may paint for as long as they like, and the average painter takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete a piece.

• Schedule: Studio hours are offered seven days a week, and the average painting session lasts between 1 1/2 to 2 hours
• Price: Each piece varies in price from $5.00 to $80.00.
Customers pick a piece of pottery to paint, leave it for glaze and firing, and can pick it up in 5–7 days, with shipping options available. Only pottery purchased in the studio and decorated with paints purchased from the studio can be fired due to kiln safety measures, and customers are advised to arrive at least one hour before closing to have enough time to complete their piece. Non-toxic paints and glazes of the highest quality are used, and finished pottery pieces are food safe but should not be put in the microwave or dishwasher. Reservations are not required, but are accepted for groups of six or more, and customers are allowed to bring their own refreshments.
Stacey and Kelli opened the uPaint doors for the first time in July of 2013, and uPaint now offers four locations in Indiana and one in Columbus, Ohio. uPaint’s mission is to provide an environment full of creativity and a place to spend quality time with loved ones.
Parent and customer feedback includes comments such as, “My family and I had a wonderful experience! The person working was so kind and explained everything really well. She was accommodating and helped with anything we asked!” from Megan B. Another customer, Brandi I, shared, “We stopped in on a whim, so glad we did. They have a fun selection of items to paint. The staff is so friendly and helpful.
