TAMA Martial Arts Center offers training in Kenpo Karate, Kung Fu, Filipino Kali, Eskrima, Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, kickboxing, Aikijutsu (Aikido), Taiji (Tai Chi), Krav Maga, Integrated Self-Defense (ISD), and self-protection. The program also includes Kids Karate, Kids Muay Thai, Kids Jiu-Jitsu, and Mighty Mites Kid’s Karate classes.

TAMA Martial Arts Center offers eight diverse martial arts training programs in the same center, with separate classes for kids and adults. Kids Martial Arts Classes are offered for ages 4–12, with Mighty Mites Kid’s Karate specifically for ages 4–6, and Adult Martial Arts Programs for ages 13 and up. Programs are tailored to individuals of all ages and skill levels and are designed to instill values such as discipline, determination, dedication, and self-esteem. The curriculum emphasizes physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental growth, guided by the Tien Shan Pai motto of developing the whole person: mind, body, and spirit, and the organizational motto, “Virtue, Wisdom, Humility, Martial Arts.”
TAMA has been shaping lives and empowering individuals through martial arts training since 1976, and the TAMA Martial Arts Center was built in 1988. For nearly 50 years, TAMA has served Dayton and surrounding areas and is dedicated to elevating martial arts excellence across the Dayton Metropolitan Area. Grandmaster Manuel R. Taningco, founder of TAMA Family Martial Arts, serves as Chief Martial Arts Instructor and is described as a revered martial artist with decades of experience. Grandmaster Taningco is a licensed Muay Thai instructor under Kru Vut Kamnark of the United World Muay Thai Association. The mission statement is: “TAMA … building knowledge in the mind, honesty in the heart, and strength in the body through martial arts training, since 1976.”
