TAMA Martial Arts Center Youth & Adult Martial Arts Programs offers training in Muay Thai kickboxing, boxing, karate, taekwondo, kung fu, and jiu-jitsu. The program includes specific systems such as TAMA Ryu Kenpo Karate, Tien Shan Pai Kung-fu, Filipino Kali / Eskrima / Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Aikijutsu (Aikido), Taiji (Tai Chi), and Krav Maga / Integrated Self-Defense (ISD) / Self-Protection. Kids classes include Kids Karate, Kids Muay Thai, Kids Jiu-Jitsu, Kung Fu classes, and Mighty Mites Kid’s Karate.

TAMA Martial Arts Center offers eight diverse martial arts training programs in the same martial arts center, with separate classes for kids and adults. Kids Martial Arts Classes are offered for ages 4–12, and Mighty Mites Kid’s Karate is specifically designed for children aged 4–6. Adult Martial Arts Programs are for ages 13 and up and cover all eight martial arts disciplines offered at TAMA Martial Arts. Each system is taught progressively, starting with foundational techniques and advancing to more complex skills. Kids programs focus on building core skills like strength, balance, and coordination, and life attributes like confidence, self-esteem, accountability, and teamwork. TAMA Martial Arts Center is described as Dayton’s leading martial arts center and a premier martial arts academy in Dayton, Ohio, and has proudly served Dayton and surrounding areas for nearly 50 years. The center’s mission is stated as “TAMA … building knowledge in the mind, honesty in the heart, and strength in the body through martial arts training, since 1976.” Grandmaster Manuel R. Taningco is the Founder of TAMA Family Martial Arts, and Grandmaster Taningco, a revered martial artist with decades of experience, is the Chief Martial Arts Instructor at TAMA Martial Arts Center.
