Club SciKidz Columbus offers summer camps, after-school STEM programs, science assemblies, in-school field trips, science birthday parties, scouting badge workshops, STEM Saturdays – Bricks to Bots, after-school science clubs, teacher workshops, and 30-minute science workshops in preschools. Club SciKidz Columbus was established in 1997. Since 1997, more than 100,000 children have attended one or more of its science day camps or school programs. Club SciKidz now offers 42 different themed science camps and 30 weeks of inquiry-based after-school science club experiences, with unique science programs designed to meet the needs of children ages 4–15 and carefully researched lessons involving life, earth, and physical science concepts.
Owners Bob and Sue Hagan have a combined 30 plus years of teaching experience and both hold a Master’s Degree in Education. The leadership team consists of owners Bob Hagan and Sue Hagan. The curriculum is described as expertly crafted by a team of expert educators, with a dedicated team of instructors passionate about science and technology, and safety identified as a top priority.
The stated mission of Club SciKidz Columbus is: “We believe in the power of education to shape the future, and our mission is to inspire and educate the next generation of innovators.” Club SciKidz Columbus is officially accredited by STEM.org and is described as having recognized excellence in STEM education for kids, STEM.org recognition, hands-on learning, academic excellence, a diverse curriculum designed to ignite curiosity, a blend of fun and learning, programs that encourage creativity and critical thinking, a wide range of programs within science and technology, a track record of success with past participants who have gone on to excel in STEM fields, and programs that instill a lifelong love for learning.

The teenagers/young adults that facilitated the activities were GREAT!” Other comments include, “My boys loved Club SciKidz! They loved the variety of activities, the fun experiments, and the interaction with the other kids and counselors. It was their favorite camp of the summer,” and, “Our kids went to five different camps last summer and this was our favorite.” Additional feedback notes a “Safe environment, fun activities, great hours,” and that “Lots of unique activities, organized and well run,” and, “I really loved getting to know the teachers and the director. Everyone was incredibly thoughtful and caring.”
