Hancock Park District Programs and Camps

Hancock Park District Programs and Camps include Plein Air Gatherings, where artists get together to paint or draw outdoors “en plein air” in Hancock County parks. Plein Air Gatherings welcome all adult artists who use any medium that works well for creating artwork outdoors.

• Schedule: The Hancock Park District Administrative Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for in-person program registrations.

The Hancock Park District was created in 1970 as a special district of the State of Ohio by Hancock County Probate Court at the request of the City of Findlay and Hancock County. As Hancock County’s principal outdoor recreation agency, the Hancock Park District has basic responsibilities for park and recreational resources. The Hancock Park District’s mission is to enrich lives by providing meaningful experiences through quality parks, facilities, and programs. Information about programs, parks, and services is available inside the Administrative Office during business hours and is also on display at an outdoor visitor center at all times. The grounds of the Administrative Office include a meadow management demonstration area and are bordered by the Blanchard River.
