Summer Experience 2026 offers a wide range of options in academics, arts and sciences, athletics and more, allowing campers to build a customizable summer. The program is designed to meet the diverse interests of families and students from PreK through Grade 12. Families can register for a single week, multiple weeks, all summer long or anything in between.
• Ages: 3–17 years old
• Schedule: 8–10 weeks of programming with flexible registration by week
Columbus Academy, founded in 1911, follows the country day school educational model and emphasizes that the best interests of children are served when home and school work together. The school states that diversity, inclusion, equity and justice are essential measures of its excellence and continues to serve students age 3 through grade 12 from throughout Central Ohio. Columbus Academy is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS), is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), and is recognized as one of the best independent schools in the nation. The campus is described as an innovative independent school campus with 231 acres to explore and mindfully designed learning spaces that allow for children to gaze out to the open sky. The Head of School is Melissa Soderberg. The school’s mission states that it promises to inspire in its students the habit of lifelong learning, to help them develop the ability to discern truth, and the motivation to serve others.
