About

Eagle Bay Cub Day Camp is a 3-day program where participants take part in activities such as archery, BB-guns, field sports, nature, arts and crafts, and Scout skills. Registration includes one T-shirt, a water bottle, a morning snack, a custom patch, full-time medical staff, BSA-trained volunteer staff, and program activities. Day Camp youth participants are open to all youth, including non-registered Scout families, and first grade (Tiger, entering 1st grade) youth must be accompanied by an adult partner at all times, with no extra charge for the adult partner. Lunch is not provided, and participants need to bring a packed, non-refrigerated lunch for all 3 days.

Eagle Bay District Day Camp is supported by trained volunteer leadership and includes BSA-trained volunteer staff and full-time medical staff. Camperships (scholarships) are available for Day Camp, usually up to 50% of the total camp fee, with full scholarships only in extreme circumstances, and the campership application deadline is April 15th. Extra T-shirts are for sale and can be ordered during the registration process. Registration closes July 13th, and no refunds are given after this date. If activities or camps are postponed or cancelled, registrants receive a full refund, and if camp is postponed and a Scout is unable to attend the new date, they receive a full refund. Individuals or groups that cancel a program reservation at least 30 days prior to the date of the event, or prior to the deadline date for reservations (whichever is less), receive a refund of fees paid, less a 15% administrative charge, and no refunds are made after the cancellation deadline. The Erie Shores Council provides Scouting programs to the youth of Northwest Ohio in Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Wood, and eastern Fulton Counties.
