Scoutship may be awarded to current girl members, with the financial amount based on income, family size, and product sales participation, and Pathway Pass Assistance is available for additional help. Troop Finance Reports starting April 2026 are completed on a custom form. Red Flag Reporting is available to report improprieties at the troop, service unit, or council level to an independent monitoring service. Girl Scouts of North East Ohio is a 501(c)(3) organization. The leadership team includes Florence Gill, Director of Individual Giving and Development Operations in Fund Development. The mission statement explains that Girl Scouts discover who they are, tap into the power inside them, and build the confidence to let it shine through programs from coast to coast and overseas, where girls of all backgrounds and abilities come as they are and create their own paths while they explore their passions, develop hands-on skills, and discover tools they need to lead with joy on their own terms. The mission statement also notes that challenges do not stop Girl Scouts as they discover their strengths in science labs and on hiking trails, at cookie booths and in front of city councils, and that, backed by volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, they are part of a lifelong sisterhood of powerful change-makers who are always on their side.
