Nike Volleyball Camp at Denison University

Nike Volleyball Camp at Denison University includes an All Skills Camp and a Serving & Passing Clinic where campers practice fundamentals, train by position, and play in competitive matches. Campers take part in skill training with new drills and games, including 3 on 3 games, and work on learning better techniques such as different setting footwork, blocking, attacking, and improving serve and serve receive timing. Instruction is provided by collegiate coaching staff and players in an environment with a low staff to camper ratio and access to excellent training facilities, and multi-day campers receive a Nike Volleyball Camps T-shirt and prizes.

The camp is led by Carter Cassell, Women's Head Volleyball Coach at Denison University and Co-Director of Nike Volleyball Camp at Denison University. Carter Cassell returns for his seventh season as Denison University's Head Volleyball Coach in 2023, and in his five full seasons with the Big Red, Denison has won 76 matches and has advanced to the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament in all five seasons. Campers have received recognition such as the "red award" and the "most hustle" award. Parent and camper reviews from 2016–2025 describe experiences such as meeting and working with college players, making new friends, enjoying 3 on 3 games, learning different setting footwork, improving serve and serve receive and timing, learning to block and attack, getting many reps in a high-level environment, and participating in a camp that focused on skill training with great coaching, new drills and games, and an encouraging atmosphere.
