The Betsey Mills Club Youth Programs include swimming lessons for children, Red Cross Authorized swim lessons, and swimming parties. The program also offers educational field trips for preschoolers, a state licensed Day Care and Preschool Center, and child watch/kids night out dates. Additional activities at The Betsey Mills Club include Pool Therapy, Warm Water Arthritis Workout, Yoga, mahjong, reading clubs, cooking classes, pickle ball, gym rentals, pool rentals, birthday parties, bounce house parties, showers, and Pool Therapy and Warm Water Arthritis Classes.

• Schedule: Daily hours Monday–Thursday 8:30AM–4:30PM and Fridays 8:30AM–1:30PM, closed for lunch 12:30–1:30PM; office hours Monday–Friday 9AM–5PM
• Price: Unlimited pool membership for $35.00/month (including Pool Therapy and Warm Water Arthritis Classes).

The Betsey Mills Club is a historic community center and a historical landmark in the community, with rooms available for meetings, special events, and classes. Programs at The Betsey Mills Club include a state licensed Day Care and Preschool Center and Red Cross Authorized swim lessons. The Betsey Mills Club is locally administrated and locally financed and offers programs and services to reach many residents of Washington County. It provides safe and secure housing for women in dormitories on the second floor, and Betsey’s Closet offers free women’s business clothing to any woman in need of appropriate work apparel, giving work appropriate clothing to women in need. Memberships help provide funding for community service programs, and facility rentals for parties and events are available on a first come, first serve basis.

The Betsey Mills was founded in 1911 under the name The Girls’ Monday Club, after a sewing class started in 1898 in Marietta by Mrs. Betsey Mills and other community minded women. The first permanent home was donated in 1916, and the present complex was dedicated on June 13, 1927. The Betsey Mills Club states that it is dedicated to serving the community with opportunities for growth in health, character and service through a variety of programs, educational services and community based events.

The leadership team includes Darcy DeLancey as Childcare Director, Suzanne Schultz as Executive Director, Valerie Dietrich as Director of Operations, Stephanie Greene as Aquatics Director, and Jeremy Sargent as Maintenance Director. Stephanie Greene, Aquatics Director, brings 25 years of aquatics experience and has degrees in Sports and Exercise and Sports Management.
