Marysville Art League Classes/Events

Marysville Art League Classes/Events take place through the Marysville Art League, which focuses on visual and performing arts. The program is connected to the Historical Houston House, which serves as the home of the Marysville Art League.

The Marysville Art League has been a vibrant part of the community since its establishment in 1979. In 1982, under the leadership of President Edith Dyer, the league purchased the historic Houston House after a successful fundraising campaign and a secured loan. The mission of the Marysville Art League is to promote and appreciate the visual and performing arts in Union County and surrounding areas while sustaining the legacy and preservation of the Historical Houston House. The Houston House continues to serve as the home of the Marysville Art League, which describes itself as “Where ART and HISTORY equal CREATIVITY, ENTHUSIASM and ENTERTAINMENT.”
