About

Little Scholars Early Learning Center offers activities that include gardening, music, and dance as part of its daily programming. The program uses a research-based Creative Curriculum with a research-backed, play-based approach that is flexible and adaptive to each child's individual interests and developmental needs. The curriculum begins as early as 6 weeks old and is tiered as children grow, with full-day programming that prepares children for school and includes healthy, USDA-approved daily meals such as breakfast, lunch, and a snack.

• Ages: 0–12 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday through Friday, 52 weeks a year, from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Little Scholars Early Learning Center is a curriculum-based early childhood education facility with each campus featuring indoor and outdoor large motor spaces, monitored access, secured entry points, and robust communication measures. The program uses a personalized Procare app to share photos, videos, activity updates, and messages with families. Cleanliness protocols include industry-grade cleaning solutions and practices, and access to facilities is strictly limited to authorized personnel and approved family members.

Little Scholars Early Learning Center was founded in 1993 and has been trusted by families for over 30 years. Its mission is to provide affordable, high-quality childcare that serves a diverse community of children and families. The teaching staff is certified, trained, and fully committed to the education and care of children. Leadership includes owners Ian Lewis and Michelle Lewis, along with Regional Director Brenda Burhenne.

All Little Scholars centers hold Gold ratings under Ohio's Step Up to Quality program, and every location has met and maintained a Gold rating through Ohio’s quality rating system since its inception in 2006. The program collaborates with a variety of state and local agencies and partners that support family and child development, and it offers children-focused collaborations with community partners such as local libraries, emergency service personnel, officials, and non-profits. Special community events at Little Scholars include career days, petting zoos, and field trips.
