Children and Youth Sunday School

Children and Youth Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings during worship services at Mentor United Methodist Church. The program offers Sunday school for children in grades K–5 and youth in grades 6–12 during the 9:00 AM Modern Worship service and the 9:15 AM traditional-style worship service, and Sunday school for children in grades K–5 during the 11:00 AM Traditional Worship service. Parents sign their children in on Sunday mornings using a computer check-in system, with Pastor Tammy or a helper available to assist in the Gallery or Early Childhood room.

• Schedule: Sunday morning classes offered during 9:00 AM and 9:15 AM worship services for children (grades K–5) and youth (grades 6–12), and during the 11:00 AM worship service for children (grades K–5)

Mentor United Methodist Church has been part of the Mentor, Ohio community for over 200 years, with regular services established in 1818 and the church incorporated in 1843. Over time, the church has added and updated buildings, including a brick church in 1906, a new sanctuary in 1963, and a remodeled education wing in the twenty-first century. The church states that its mission is to lead all onto a path of Christ-centered discipleship, driven by worship, discipleship, community, and service, with an emphasis on knowing the love of God in Jesus Christ, growing in love for God, and showing God’s love by serving others.
