Miami University Child Development Center

Miami University Child Development Center is part of the Mini University centers and follows a mission that emphasizes lower classroom ratios so teachers can spend more individualized time with their students. The center uses name-to-face attendance so all children are accounted for at all times, and Enrollment Coordinators sit at the front desk to buzz family members in and ask everyone who comes into the centers for an ID. All Mini University centers are locked at all times.

The Miami University Child Development Center was founded in 2002. All lead teachers are required to have degrees in early childhood education. The center has lower classroom ratios than state ratios. This location is Butler County’s first ever 5-star rated Step Up to Quality center. All five Mini University centers are nationally accredited through NAEYC, and all centers have received a 5-Star Rating through Ohio’s Step Up to Quality. The program offers rolling enrollment so families can be accepted any time of the year.
