Camp Wyandot

Camp Wyandot offers overnight camp programs that include Traditional Camp, Mini Trails, Rover Backpacking, WoHeLo Keepers, and Family Camp. Traditional Camp is a 6½-day experience, Mini Trails is a 3½-day program for younger campers, Rover Backpacking includes a 3-day, 2-night backpacking excursion, WoHeLo Keepers is a 10-day outdoor adventure, and Family Camp includes canoeing, swimming, crafts, campfires, songs, and hiking. Camp Otonwe Day Camp offers seven week-long sessions, with a shorter day session during the week of July 4th.

• WoHeLo Keepers — Grades 9-11 · $870 per session · 10-day outdoor adventure.
• Family Camp — $500 · $100 per additional person.
• Camp Otonwe Day Camp — Youth going into 1st to 6th grade in the fall; the week of July 4th is also open to kindergartners · 9:00 AM-4:00 PM; extended day 8:30 AM-5:00 PM · Seven week-long sessions; week of July 4th is a shorter day session.

About the provider

Camp Wyandot was founded in 1913 and is celebrating its 98th continuous year of operation. Its mission statement says it provides an inclusive nurturing environment for youth to have fun, make friends, serve others, and explore the great outdoors. The organization also supports volunteers and lists events such as Annual Luncheon, Halloween in the Hills, Donor Appreciation, and Alumni Weekend.

Camp Wyandot serves boys and girls with summer day and overnight camps and the Wyandot Explorers program. Camp Otonwe day program runs 9 AM to 4 PM, with an optional extended day from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Campers bring a sack lunch unless notified of a cookout. Membership is open to individuals 18 and over, but membership details are not a youth program offering.
