Springboro Sunshine Camp offers activities such as sing-alongs, creeking, various sports and games, water balloon tosses, and a trip to UDF. Campers play on the playground and basketball court, take part in Mushroom Ball, and join themed days like a sports-themed day and Sunshine Camp “Carnival Day” with games and prizes. Senior camp activities include multiple creek visits and a wild challenge course.

Springboro Sunshine Camp is an annually offered summer camp where each week campers take part in a variety of outdoor activities. Each day of the week has a theme such as carnival day, sports day, or nature day. The youngest-camper week includes a visit to the creek to splash in shallow water and look for critters and ends with Sunshine Camp “Carnival Day” with games and prizes. Core camps include silly songs, games in the woods, creek visits to find critters and splash around, and a sports-themed day that includes a trip to UDF for a sweet treat. Senior camp includes multiple creek visits and ends with a wild challenge course.
Springboro Sunshine Camp began 32 years ago in 1994. The camp was started by Lori Dorn and Debbie Cottongim, and Debbie Cottongim is the current camp director. Several teen counselors, known as “fireflies,” help run the camp and form friendships with campers. The camp’s stated mission is, “There’s something for every camper at Sunshine Camp!” It is a much-anticipated event for families in Springboro and the surrounding area.
