YMCA Summer Day Camp includes outdoor activities, swimming, sports, arts & crafts, games, STEM activities, field trips, and other summer adventures. Weekly camp sessions are offered at this program.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Weekly camp sessions available June 1–August 7, with options Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Thursday, and extended care before and after regular camp hours
• Price: Registration (one time fee) - $40/child or $50/family; Full Week (Member): $175/week; Full Week (Non-Member): $210/week; Mini-Week (Member): $150/week; Mini-Week (Non-Member): $175/week; Before Care (6:30 am – 9:00 am): $25/week; After Care (4:00 pm – 6:00 pm): $25/week; Activity Fee (Cancellations) - $25/week if canceling a week after May 16th
YMCA Summer Day Camp states that its mission is to provide positive outcomes through play with an emphasis on social emotional growth. The day camps offered through the YMCA of Greater Dayton are certified through the American Camping Association and licensed through ODJFS. Weekly themes at this camp allow campers to practice leadership skills, critical thinking skills, be part of a team, and develop lifelong friendships, and campers gain an understanding of the YMCA's character development values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. The program offers a flexible schedule with options to choose one week, a few weeks, or all summer, and financial assistance is available for those who need it.
