Camp Communicate is a week-long, inclusive summer camp. It includes 1:1 time with trained and educated SLPs in motor planning and DTTC, large group activities, small group activities, play, music, snack time, parent education sessions, family cookout/fellowship, and family excursions. Registration for Summer 2026 opens early in the new year.

About the provider
Camp Communicate is now entering its 6th year. Lynn and LaRita are co-collaborators and creators of Camp Communicate. Campers travel from across the United States to join the camp in Ohio, and the camp collaborates with a growing team of professionals including Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Intervention Specialists, Music Therapist, Occupational/Physical Therapist, and other specialists. Its mission is to create a special annual event that provides hope for families navigating communication and developmental challenges, practical support through evidence-based, engaging therapy experiences, respite and encouragement for caregivers, and joy-filled memories that strengthen families and build community.
