The Goddard School of Westlake

The Goddard School of Westlake offers activities that include American Sign Language, dramatic arts, music appreciation, yoga and mindfulness, and secondary languages. Children use spaces such as a child learning kitchen, a space exploration room, an indoor gym, an outdoor classroom, and playgrounds, and they have access to an interactive whiteboard and a basketball court. The program also includes sports and fitness and other physical fitness activities.

The Goddard School of Westlake offers programs from infants (6 weeks) through Kindergarten (5–6 years). The school uses Wonder of Learning® and has tenured teachers.

Mrs. Kathleen is the owner of The Goddard School of Westlake. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K–8) from Bowling Green State University and taught for 12 years at Hinckley Elementary School in several grade levels, including Kindergarten.

The Goddard School of Westlake states that the start of a child's journey matters and that it offers an expert curriculum, experienced teachers and a nurturing environment to provide the foundation for their growth.

The Goddard School of Westlake received the Outstanding Customer Service Award for January 2006–January 2007. This award was determined through Mystery Callers, Mystery Shoppers, Parent Surveys and Parent Concern Calls.

Parents describe the teachers as excellent, amazing, caring, wonderful and incredible in toddler, preschool and Pre-K classrooms. One parent reports that their family has had a positive experience since day one and that their son will be more than ready for kindergarten in the fall. Another parent notes that the teachers feel like family, that everyone knows their children, and that their children have thrived there.
