About the provider
Youth Challenge says it has been running for 40 years. Its mission statement is “Adapt. Include. Empower. Lead.” Children with physical disabilities are paired one-to-one with teen volunteers, and more than 300 teen volunteers ages 12 to 18 are trained by staff to make the program possible. Free transportation is provided to 85% of participants, and accessible equipment is mentioned as support the organization helps provide.
