  • Epic Art Program — Live, once weekly via Zoom · Offered with certified art instructors. Students are required to attend and practice weekly.
  • Epic Collegiate Academy — Dual credit pathway of concurrent enrollment courses for eligible high school students.
  • Gifted and Talented — Program to identify and provide students who possess exceptional qualities the direction, time, encouragement, and resources to maximize their potential.
  • Math+ — grades 6-12 · Live and Unplugged options · Math curriculum option with certified math teachers and courses built in Schoology aligned with Oklahoma academic standards.
  • Native Languages Program — Provides Native language to students regardless of geography and collaborates with Tribal Nations language revitalization efforts.
  • eSports — Community built around gaming and esports curricula for Epic students.
  • Epic Choir Program — Weekly vocal lesson and group rehearsal; in-person at OKC or Tulsa location · Designed to enhance musical, creative, and expressive qualities of students interested in singing.
  • Epic Virtual Internship Program — juniors and seniors · Fully virtual · Available to fulfill the Next Step course requirement.
  • Journalism & Creative Media — Offers multiple courses with hands-on learning taught by professional media specialists; student work feeds into journalism program published on epicnewsnetwork.org.
  • Native American Programs — Designed to support academic success, cultural enrichment, leadership development, and college and career readiness for Native students across Oklahoma.
  • World Language — Courses available in Spanish, French, German and ASL.

About the provider

Epic Charter Schools was founded in 2011. The school says it customizes the learning experience around each individual student to fit their unique needs. It is Oklahoma’s largest public virtual charter school, among the largest of its kind in the U.S., serving approximately 30,000 students from PreK-12th grade in all 77 counties statewide. It is authorized by the Oklahoma Statewide Charter School Board and is fully accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education and Cognia.
