Red Dirt Music Academy

Red Dirt Music Academy offers music lessons, voice lessons, guitar lessons, piano lessons, ukulele lessons, banjo lessons, drum lessons, bass guitar lessons, singing lessons, and violin/viola lessons for all ages. It also offers Little KeyNotes for 4-5 year-olds and a Rock Band class for students in private lessons. Guitar lessons are listed for all ages, with private one-on-one guitar lessons for ages 7+; piano lessons are listed for all ages, with students able to start as young as 4; ukulele lessons are listed for young beginners ages 4-7.

About the provider

Red Dirt Music Academy was created by Cory Moon. In 2018, he transitioned from in-home music lessons to in-studio lessons and launched the academy with 30 students. The leadership team includes Cory Moon, Owner/Director; Melina Blanco, Teacher/Assistant Manager; Isabella Mertins, Bishop Ward, Jala Gundlach, Sarah Heinen, and Miguel Moreno, all Teachers; Celeste Hamilton, Assistant Administrator; and Gibson Moon, Student Intern and Liason. Cory Moon received a Bachelor of Music from The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in 2008 and a Masters of Leadership from Mid-America Christian University in 2014. The mission statement says, "our mission is to empower you to become the rockstar you’ve always dreamed of being."
