About
Camp Shalom runs 10 individual weeks starting the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Children take group swim lessons three days a week, and specialty camp weeks include free swim every afternoon. Campers in 7th through 10th grade swim each day, and 7th and 8th graders can stay in Counselors in Training (CIT) Leadership Camp or go with a 3-K group, while 9th and 10th graders can stay in CIT Leadership Camp or go with a 1st-6th Grade camp.
Programs
- Camp Shalom — 3 years old to entering Kindergarten · 10 individual weeks, starting the Tuesday after Memorial Day; 8:30 am–4:30 pm; before care starts at 7:30 am; after care available until 6 pm; group swim lessons three days a week
- Camp Shalom specialty camps — entering 1st grade to entering 6th grade · For seven of the weeks, campers choose a specialty camp for the week; majority of camps have specialty camp from 9am-noon and noon-4pm; free swim every afternoon · For three weeks, campers are grouped by grade. Campers are grouped by specialty camps for the full day.
- Camp Shalom for 7th-10th grade — entering 7th-10th Grade · Campers swim each day; 7th and 8th graders can stay in Counselors in Training (CIT) Leadership Camp or go with a 3-K group; 9th and 10th graders can stay in CIT Leadership Camp or go with a 1st-6th Grade camp · 9th and 10th graders can earn either volunteer hours or a stipend of $50/week.
- When School's Out, Camp Shalom is in Session! — Ages 3 years – K & 1st – 10th grades · 8:30 am–4:30 pm · $55 per day · $55 per child/per day for a fun day of engaging activities with friends old and new!
- Year-round childcare — 18 months and up · Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm · $1,300 per month · Licensed childcare facility. $100 application fee.
