LevelOne Volleyball offers elite volleyball sports performance training for young athletes. Training takes place in first-class facilities and focuses on high level training so each participant has the opportunity to develop into the best athlete they can be.
• Schedule: Hours available Monday–Friday 5:00am–8:00pm, and Saturday–Sunday 9:00am–5:00pm
Dave is the volleyball trainer and coach associated with LevelOne Volleyball and DSK Volleyball at the YMCA. His volleyball experience began in 1987 and includes playing as a middle hitter for Canyon High School in Southern California, playing for UC Santa Barbara, and playing as a right-side hitter for Orange Coast College. In 1991 he made his comeback at Orange Coast College, and in 1994 he and his Orange Coast College team won the state championship and he was selected for the Olympic Festival team, where he won a silver medal. He later became a beach volleyball player aiming to play at the professional level and has received multiple awards, including MVP and top All-League selections. In 2009 he founded DSK Volleyball at the YMCA and continues to coach volleyball through LevelOne Volleyball.
The YMCA’s mission connected to this program is to strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The YMCA partners with LevelOne to bring elite volleyball sports performance training to young athletes in the Willamette Valley. Community support for the YMCA, including programs like this one, is also connected to events such as the Ken Davis Golf Classic presented by the Davis Family, which benefits the YMCA and supports programs that strengthen and uplift the community.
