YMCA Camp DeBoer offers group games, canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, archery, swimming, sports, arts and crafts, fishing, and backpacking. Trails Quest at YMCA Camp DeBoer combines camp activities with a backpacking trip for campers ages 14–17 on the scenic trails of Southern Oregon. Leaders in Training (LIT) Camp at YMCA Camp DeBoer includes the LIT Challenge and a quest to join the LIT Wall Of Glory, and the Junior Counselors Volunteer Program allows teens to get camp counselor experience and be part of the staff team at camp.

YMCA Camp DeBoer states that it has at least one counselor for every six campers. The camp offers free bussing and charges an additional $20 fee for those who choose to drive to camp instead of ride the bus. Families who drop their child off at the Ashland Family YMCA on Sunday are required to pick them up there on Thursday. Reservations for Outdoor School at YMCA Camp DeBoer are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and the site has capacity for 130 students plus additional chaperones and teachers for Outdoor School experiences. Karin Onkka serves as the Outdoor Education Director at YMCA Camp DeBoer. The camp’s mission statement describes YMCA Camp DeBoer as a place “where adventure, exploration, and seasons of memories await” and states that it “provides a safe, nurturing, and exciting environment for children and youth to discover, learn, and grow” and that it believes “in the power of outdoor experiences to inspire, educate, and transform young lives.”
