High Desert Park & Recreation Sports & Activities offers a range of options including Girls Basketball for 2nd–5th grade, Volleyball, Fall Soccer 2026 for grades K–8th, Tennis Camp, Softball, Harney County Youth Football League – 2025 Season, Swim Team Practice, Swim Lessons, Deep Water Aerobics, General Swim, and an Adult Swim Lesson Class. The program also includes non-sport activities such as a Father/Daughter Dance and Roller Skate Night. Roller skating is closed for the summer months and may resume in August depending on Memorial building readiness.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Volleyball season runs September 29 – November 6, 2025, with all practices and games held at the Armory; Softball starts the second week in July; pool activities run Monday–Friday with Swim Team Practice from 7:00am–9:30am, Swim Lessons from 9:30am–12:00pm, Deep Water Aerobics from 12:00pm–1:00pm, General Swim from 1:00pm–4:30pm, and Adult Swim Lesson Class from 5:00pm–6:00pm
• Price: Softball fee is $35 per person.
High Desert Park & Recreation offers the “Every Kid Plays” Sports Scholarship Program. The program also runs a “Buy a Fish - Save a Pool” fundraiser to help replace the pool boiler.
