High Desert Park & Recreation Youth Tennis & Pickleball Programs

High Desert Park & Recreation Youth Tennis & Pickleball Programs offers Youth Tennis, Pickleball, Spring Tennis/Pickle Ball Instruction, and a Summer Tennis Camp. The program includes beginner-friendly instruction where participants learn the rules and techniques of the game, with limited rackets and balls available to borrow. There is a possibility of travel games, and each session is limited to 14 spots on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Ages: 7–14 years old
• Schedule: Spring Tennis/Pickle Ball Instruction in 2026 on April Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm–5:00pm, and Summer Tennis Camp 2026 from July 27th–30th, 9:00am–11:00am

This is the second season of the Youth Tennis/Pickleball program. The program follows the mission statement “Every Kid Plays,” with a commitment that if a child wants to play, the organizers will do everything they can to make that happen. High Desert Park & Recreation offers the “Every Kid Plays” Sports Scholarship Program to help cover the cost of participation in any of their programs for families in need, with a simple application process and confidential support.
