High Desert Park & Recreation Youth Tennis Programs include Youth Tennis and a Summer Tennis Camp. The Youth Tennis activity focuses on learning the rules and techniques of the game with fun, beginner-friendly instruction. Limited equipment such as rackets and balls is available to borrow, and tennis shirts are provided for all players, with only 14 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Schedule: Youth Tennis runs April through May
This is the second season of High Desert Park & Recreation Youth Tennis Programs. The program follows the mission that every child deserves the chance to play, no matter their financial situation. The “Every Kid Plays” Sports Scholarship Program is available for all High Desert Park & Recreation youth sports, with a simple application process and confidential, respectful support so that cost is not a barrier to joining a sport. Summer Tennis Camp 2026 is planned, with details on age groups and times to be announced, and there is a possibility of travel games as part of the program.
