Forest Grove Dance Arts

Forest Grove Dance Arts offers dance classes led by a faculty described as “The Studio With Over 175 Years of Dance Teaching Experience.” The program is directed by Artistic Director Patty Petersen.

• Schedule: Class options Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 9pm, Friday from 12pm to 7:15pm, and Saturday from 8am to 1pm

The stated goal of Forest Grove Dance Arts is to provide high quality dance education in a warm and welcoming environment. The mission emphasizes personal attention and analysis of each student’s abilities, progress, and achievement. The studio describes dance training as developing self-esteem, listening skills, discipline, musicality, personal responsibility, self respect, and other lasting qualities. The program states that regular attendance is an important part of the discipline of dance and that classes progress at every level. The studio’s goal is described as building self confidence and teaching proper technique, respect, coordination, and appreciation for the art of dance. Families are invited to download the FGDA app.
