About
Oregon Tech Youth Soccer Day Camps offer Youth Soccer Day Camps that focus on building sound fundamentals, building a new skill set, and enjoying the game of soccer. Campers take part in activities that center on soccer skills and play in a day camp format.
• Ages: 6–13 years old
• Schedule: Two four-day camps, each running from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Price: Cost for each camp is $125.00.
Camp 1 runs from June 24–27, and Camp 2 runs from July 29–August 1, with check-in beginning 30 minutes before the 9 a.m. start time. Campers are asked to bring tennis shoes, soccer shoes (turf or cleats), shin guards, medication and personal medical items, water, a snack since no lunch is provided, a water bottle, sunscreen, and any weather-related clothing they may need, along with energy and a great attitude. Campers are divided into groups with players of similar age and skill level and work with the OIT soccer coaching staff and players, and all campers receive a special Oregon Tech soccer t-shirt. An athletic trainer is on site during camp sessions. The program is led by OIT women's soccer coach Tom Moore and is part of the Oregon Tech Athletic Department, whose mission is to facilitate growth and development of its student-athletes by providing a broad-based athletic program that creates educational opportunities through competition at the collegiate level. The department also provides personal health and fitness opportunities to the campus community through its Tech-Fit facilities.
