Golf Coaching with Steven J. Hill, PGA offers group lessons, private lessons, junior golf camps, golf schools, stay and play packages, and week long golf instruction. Coaching focuses on specific areas such as getting started with the basics, improving scores, adding distance, making a high school golf team, working toward a college golf scholarship, and improving the short game. Instruction also covers putting, wedge play, full swing, short game, course strategy, tournament strategy, wind play, and social engagement, with individual and group session options for male and female adults, youth, teens, seniors, and players with disabilities.

Steven J. Hill is a PGA Teaching Professional with over 30 years of experience teaching group and private lessons in Montana, Arizona, Florida, and Oregon. He developed his own golf schools in Arizona and ran junior golf camps in Montana, Arizona, Florida, and Oregon. He learned motion from Wild Bill Mehlhorn, a member of the first Ryder Cup Team and multiple winner on the PGA Tour, as well as Bobby Shave during his college years at Florida International. Other instructors who have influenced his coaching include Manuel de la Torre, Dr. Carey Mumford, Paul Runyon, Bob Veroulis, and Dale Newell. The stated mission of the program is “Helping players achieve their goals.” Mallard Creek Golf & RV Resort, where coaching is available to the public, is an 18 hole Championship course and a former host of the Oregon Open, with five sets of tees offering different challenges for all ability levels, no houses on the course, a 43 site RV park, stay and play packages, week long golf instruction, and a clubhouse that offers pub food and libations throughout the year.
