Medford Judo Academy has been training Danzan Ryu Jujitsu since 1960 and is the oldest martial arts dojo in southern Oregon, as well as the oldest Danzan Ryu Jujitsu dojo in continuous operation in the same location. Training at Medford Judo Academy emphasizes practical skills, beginning with falls and escapes that apply in real-world situations, developing advanced arts for a full range of self-defense options, and incorporating physical and mental training within a philosophy of ethical and moral development.
