Brethren Family Camp offers a week of family fun that includes spiritual teachings, nature activities, nature hikes, swimming in the creek, arts and crafts, and evening campfires. Families share group meals in the dining hall and picnics in the outdoor pavilion. Evenings include special events such as talent shows, skits, and music performances.

• Price: Cost for lodging and meals is $60 per person per night for adults and children 10 and older, $30 per person per night for children ages 4–9, and no charge for children under age 4; scholarships are available.
Camp Myrtlewood, where Brethren Family Camp is held, was established in 1936 and operates under the auspices of the Church of the Brethren. Camp Myrtlewood encompasses 158 acres of temperate rainforest, including streams, serene meadows, and rustic buildings, and has become a community hub welcoming over 2,000 visitors each year. The camp’s mission states that it inspires transformation and community connection through hospitality, education, and environmental stewardship, and that it provides a welcoming, inclusive retreat where individuals and groups can engage in spiritual renewal, lifelong learning, and environmental conservation. The mission also states that together, participants cultivate experiences that foster peace, respect, personal growth, and appreciation for the natural world. The camp managers are Shauna Danielson and Joshua Danielson. Everyone is welcome at Brethren Family Camp, and families come together there to enjoy a week of fellowship, relaxation, and spiritual growth in the setting of Camp Myrtlewood.
