PDX Lil’ Kickers is a non-competitive, introductory soccer and movement skills program that offers youth soccer classes. The program includes 50 minutes of highly creative, high energy, age-appropriate soccer and movement activities. It also offers the Skills Institute, a soccer development program for children who love soccer and have a strong desire to improve their skills.
• Ages: 18 months–12 years old
• Schedule: Classes offered all year long; individual sessions are 50 minutes
The program’s mission is to offer a non-competitive, introductory soccer and movement skills program for boys and girls ages 18 months–9 years. Lil’ Kickers is described as the highest quality child development program in the Northwest and is part of the nationally renowned Lil’ Kickers child development program. Skills Institute is a soccer development program for 5–12 year-olds that includes a strong technical emphasis on soccer and allows coaches to evaluate, assess, and adapt to each player’s initial skill level and individual differences.
Classes are led by well trained coaches. One parent shared, “My kids each started in Lil’ kickers at 18 months and I cannot say enough good things about the coaches - they are simply amazing. My kids look forward to seeing them every week, as do I. They are kind, engaging, energetic and extremely gifted in working with and teaching kids.”
