Montessori of Alameda

Montessori of Alameda offers an Infant Program for children from 2 months to crawling, a Wobbler Program for children from crawling to walking, a Toddler Program for children from 18 months to about 3 years, and a Primary Program for children from 2.5 to 6 years. The Toddler Program includes dressing, toileting, serving snacks, and cleaning up. The Primary Program uses a three-year classroom with hands-on work and uninterrupted morning work cycles.

• Primary Program — 2.5 to 6 years · Three-year classroom including kindergarten; children learn at their own pace through hands-on work, with uninterrupted morning work cycles and leadership opportunities.
• Preschool and Kindergarten Montessori education — Infant to 6 years · Bilingual Spanish/English Montessori education in Portland, OR.

About the provider

Montessori of Alameda is a member of the American Montessori Society. Its lead guides are Montessori certified or Montessori trained, and educators receive Conscious Discipline training and ongoing professional development. Angela Serves is identified as the School Leader. The school’s mission is to provide a warm, nurturing bilingual Spanish and English Montessori experience for families, serving children from infancy through kindergarten.

First visit is for adults only. Pre-enrollment requires full enrollment forms, enrollment fee, completed ASQ, and first and last month’s tuition. All spaces are guaranteed so all fees are non refundable. Initial enrollment uses an electronic account billed on the 1st of the month. Accepted payment methods: electronic check, Visa, and MasterCard only. Parents provide pre-filled, labeled bottles each day for infants. Cloth or disposable diapers are accepted based on family preference.
