Phoenix Farm Riding School

Phoenix Farm Riding School offers riding lessons that focus on Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation, along with horse care. The program includes both lessons and pro-workouts that emphasize connections with horses, teamwork, responsibility, and friendship. Phoenix Farm is a family owned and operated hunter/jumper riding school and a learning space with a focus on horsemanship and equitation fundamentals, along with honest and clear communication.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Training programs offered 5 days a week or 4 days a week with customized combinations of lessons and pro-workouts; a 3-day-a-week option is offered only for half-leasers

Phoenix Farm Riding School was established more than 30 years ago by Christina Traunweiser. Her daughter, Kati Traunweiser, is the head trainer and continues the farm’s mission. The training program includes trainers with over 150 years of collective experience and follows program guidelines that emphasize safety first (both physical and psychological), open and honest communication, kindness, compassion, listening, and no drama, bullying, or backstabbing. Phoenix Farm is described as a mainstay in the Oregon equestrian community and states that it strives to make the farm a place of joy, learning, teamwork, and lifelong friendships for students and their equine partners.
