Rewild Portland Programs offers land based fiber arts activities through several ongoing series. Participants can take part in fiber arts immersion programs and monthly sessions that focus on specific skills.
• Schedule: The Color Wheel and The Weaver’s Wheel each meet 2 days per month from 10 am–4 pm, and the Resilient Skills Series meets once a month; The Color Wheel runs for 9 months from March–November, and The Weaver’s Wheel runs for 9 months from April–December
• Price: The Color Wheel tuition is $3,495 with materials included; The Weaver’s Wheel tuition is $3,495 with materials included
Rewild Portland Programs is run by Rewild Portland, a non-profit organization serving Portland, Oregon and the surrounding wild and rural communities. Its mission is to foster cultural and environmental resilience through the teaching of place-based skills. The Resilient Skills Series is a once-a-month opportunity to explore different skills through a rewilding lens and is intentionally accessible with no to low-cost options, with no previous experience necessary to attend. The Resilient Skills Series has one core ethic behind it: all people must have access to creating resilience in their lives.
