About the provider

Sherwood Dance Academy has been serving dancers for more than 25 years. Its stated mission is, “Every child deserves a place where they belong.” The program notes small class sizes where every dancer is known, encouraging teachers, a supportive environment where growth matters more than comparison, and meaningful opportunities to serve the community through service projects, fundraising, community partnerships, and performances that go directly back to the community.

Small class sizes where every dancer is known; encouraging teachers; supportive environment where growth matters more than comparison; leadership grows alongside dance; Happiness Guarantee: if, during your first month of classes, you decide SDA isn't the right fit, they'll refund some or all of your tuition according to their policy.

What families say

“SDA is a wonderful studio that empowers their students and creates a love and passion for dance. The growth that we have seen in my daughter, not only in dance, but personally, is astounding! She can do hard things, it just takes practice!” — Lindsee R.

“My daughters have always been welcomed, celebrated, and felt like they belonged by teachers and students alike. SDA is both a place and a feeling - a place to work hard, gain new skills and friend, share your passion and discover new ones. That is only possible because of an exceptional staff that truly cares.” — Amy D.

“Our daughter blossomed as her dance skills grew. The staff treated her so well and encouraged her to keep expressing herself. There was a good balance between making it fun and still pushing her a little. I would not hesitate to have your child attend class here!” — Michelle L.
