Sherwood Youth Soccer Club offers Fall Soccer and Spring Soccer for youth players. The program also includes the UK Soccer Spring Indoor Academy as one of its specific activities.

Sherwood Youth Soccer Club states its mission as: “To develop and nurture the love of soccer in the Sherwood community.” The club’s vision statement includes teaching and promoting youth soccer at all player levels within the Sherwood community, developing and preparing players for the future on and off the field, providing a balanced soccer experience and quality instruction, and creating a fun and positive environment for all soccer players to participate, enjoy, and achieve success. The vision statement also includes ensuring all club members exhibit teamwork, professionalism, and enthusiasm, encouraging the whole community to be involved with the success of the club through a variety of effective partnerships and alliances, establishing standards and expectations for players, coaches, and administrators, and ensuring effective leadership and management of the club. Community involvement is described as encouraging the whole community to be involved with the success of the club through a variety of effective partnerships and alliances. The leadership team includes Alex Gonzalez (President), Arlena Morton (Vice President), Gary Nilsen (Treasurer), Atina Enoch (Director of Programs), Clark Farrand (Field Coordinator), Caitlin Michael (Sponsorship Coordinator), Debbie Marr (Registrar), Jack Vohland (Referee Coordinator), Eric Anderson (Board Member at Large), and Ryan Palmer (Board Member at Large).
