Pine Ridge Golf Club Lessons

Pine Ridge Golf Club Lessons offers golf lessons, private golf lessons, junior golf lessons, short game lessons, group instruction, and 9-hole playing lessons. Playing lessons include 9-hole playing lessons that cover shots, course management, and mental aspects of the game. Private lessons include digital video swing analysis with a take-home copy of the swing.

Nic Sherman is the PGA Director of Golf and serves as Director of Golf/Head Professional, and junior lessons are provided by a certified golf professional. The leadership team also includes Aaron Oakley as Director of Player Development, Ryan Will as Assistant Professional, Rory Allison as Golf Course Manager/Greens Superintendent, and Valerie McKinley as Controller/Food and Beverage Manager. Nic Sherman’s background in the golf business spans 30 years, beginning with his first job in the golf industry in the spring of 1995, including positions at Oak Knoll, Fiddlers Green Golf Center, and his role as Head Golf Professional at Pine Ridge Golf Club starting in May of 2017.

The program offers affordable lesson packages to meet different goals and budgets, with options ranging from 30 minutes of individual instruction to 9-hole playing lessons or group instruction. Lessons focus on fundamentals that build muscle memory, with an emphasis on maximizing each player’s abilities rather than swinging like a tour professional. From short game lessons to playing lessons, the club uses its facilities to support better golf performance, and students have described Nic Sherman’s patience and enthusiasm as creating a relaxing and positive learning environment.
