The camp uses low camper-to-coach ratios, groups campers by age and ability, and emphasizes great sportsmanship and camaraderie. Each camper develops technical skills and tactical knowledge, participates in camp games with a chance to win prizes, competes in singles and doubles matches, works with college and/or high school coaches and college players during the week, and receives an adidas Tennis Camp T-shirt.

Camp Director Ben Messerly is a private tennis instructor with over a decade of experience coaching tennis camps in Oregon and Washington. In his time co-directing tennis camps, he has worked with some of the top tennis players in the state, including district and state champions and collegiate tennis players. He was a 4-year varsity tennis player at Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale, Arizona, where he served as team captain, was a state qualifier in singles and doubles, and led his team to four district championships, and he continued his playing career with the club tennis program at the University of Portland. The staff supervises campers for the entire duration of the camp, and drugs, alcohol, and tobacco products are strictly forbidden and result in immediate dismissal from camp without refund.

The adidas top rated Tennis Camps were developed to provide athletes an opportunity to become better tennis players in a fun, positive atmosphere, where tennis campers learn from coaches and leave camp with confidence and a passion to enjoy the “sport of a lifetime.” The camp is open to any and all entrants and is open to kids and teens ages 5 to 18 of all ability levels. Programs are offered over the course of 4–6 days with options for full or half-day camp, along with overnight or extended day camp experiences, which vary by location, and this camp lists 4-day sessions with full and half-day options. One parent, Maya G., said that the coaches and staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great experience, while another parent, Jackson M., noted the variety of drills, games, and scrimmage sessions. A camper, Isabella R., said she learned a lot about technique and strategy, found the match play sessions challenging and fun, and felt the coaches pushed everyone to become better players than when they arrived.

Campers should bring all necessary tennis equipment, a refillable water bottle, a bagged lunch, and a snack. Suggested items include a health form, tennis racquet(s), tennis shoes, water jug or bottle, sunscreen, bagged lunch, bathing suit (not all locations have access to a pool), and a hat. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to contact their guardians, but phones are not allowed on the field during training sessions, and campers are advised not to bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops because all personal items are the responsibility of each camper and adidas Tennis Camps and its staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
