Fantasy Farms

Fantasy Farms offers horseback riding lessons for beginning riders through advanced show riders. The lesson programs include English, Jumping, Western, Trail, and Showmanship, and quality tack and riding helmets are provided. It also offers Summer Horse Camp with riding in English, Jumping, and Western, plus horse management and health care, and birthday parties with horses for children ages 3-12.

Programs

• Lesson Programs — All levels of riders; beginning rider to advanced show rider · Monday-Thursday; lessons four days a week · For the pleasure, 4-H, OHSET or Open Show rider. English, Jumping, Western, Trail, and Showmanship. Quality tack and riding helmets provided.
• Summer Horse Camp — 5 to 14 · During the summer · $475 · Riding in English, Jumping, Western, horse management and health care. Campers have horses to care for, on-horse riding time, and are grouped by experience from beginner through advanced.
• Birthday Parties — 3-12 · Saturdays and Sundays only · $325 · Two-hour birthday party at the stables with horses. Indoor and outdoor facility for year-round celebrations.
• Horseback Riding Lessons — Beginning with clients at age 6 · Personalized program for success.
• 4-H Program — Riders compete in all around events such as English Equitation & Pleasure, Western Equitation & Pleasure, Jumping, Dressage, Showmanship, Driving and Trail.
• Open Shows — Fantasy Farms riders hold many daily & yearly titles.

About the provider

Fantasy Farms opened in 1986 and has been offering horsemanship camps for 30 years. The leadership team is Ele Dewar, Founder/Trainer, and Madelen Dewar, Barn Manager/Trainer. Ele has been a Marion County 4-H leader for over 26 years and an Oregon High School Equestrian Coach. The facility has a Fantasy Fhantoms 4-H team, and its show team has participated in OHSET, 4-H, and Open horse shows.

• Horse Boarding — Full care board for clients taking lessons, leasing horses, or having a horse in training.
• Lease/Training Program — Half leases of well-trained show horses and training for riders and their horses.

Summer camp accepts ages 5 to 14 except for FF barn members; boys and girls are welcome for day camp; space is limited and pre-registration is necessary. Birthday parties are for children ages 3-12 and 110 lbs or less, by appointment, and Saturdays and Sundays only.
