Camp Morrow Summer Camps began with its first camp in 1958. The camp states that it exists to equip kids with God's Word and root them in Jesus Christ, the Savior of all who trust in Him, and that its purpose is to evangelize and disciple people in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Camp Morrow is a non-denominational camp affiliated with InFaith, formerly known as American Sunday School Union and later American Missionary Fellowship, and is a member of Christian Camps and Conference Association. The Morrow family provided the land to start the first camp and later donated the property so the camp could continue to operate and expand ministry opportunities, and the camp also notes that it emphasizes faith, friendships, and fun as core purposes.
Camp Morrow operates both a Lake Camp and a Ranch Camp, and some camps specify drop off and pick up at Lake Camp or Ranch Camp. The program offers a new Day Camp option for Middle School 2 and Junior 2, daily transportation (Tuesday–Friday) for Day Camp in The Dalles, Dufur and Tygh Valley, an Earn Your Way program for scholarship information, a Gap Year program, and a Capital Campaign. The leadership team includes Executive Director Chip Shetler, Office Administrator Brenda Shetler, Program Administrator Jason Birman, Gap Year Director Dustin Peterson, Facility Maintenance staff Josiah Shelter, Dwain Stanley, Levi Huntley, and Neil Lanning, Ranch Director Greg Gill, and Camp Store Manager Alice Lanning.
