The program creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Founded in 1971, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley is part of a national organization working to clear the path to a child’s biggest possible future. Its stated vision is that all youth achieve their full potential. The program states that when every young person has access to a positive mentor, it transforms their lives for the better, empowering them with a stronger sense of belonging and the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley describes itself as a movement of change-makers creating a powerful ripple effect in communities, the nation, and the world.
