About
Camp JCC is an all-day camp program that includes arts and crafts, science and imagination activities, outside fun, dance parties, recreational time, and weekly Shabbat parties. All camps include daily snacks, and children bring their own lunches while the camp provides the snacks.
• Ages: 4–16 years old
• Schedule: One-week sessions running June 15 through August 21, with camp days from 9:00am–4:00pm
Camp JCC has trained counselors and staff, and extended care from 7:30am–9:00am and 4:00pm–5:30pm is available for an additional fee. All camps offer flexible registration and cancellation policies, include all material and activity fees, and provide curbside drop-off and pick-up. Camp JCC is an American Camp Association Accredited Camp. The program is built around Jewish values that are described as universal and shared by everyone, and it teaches children about kindness, community, repairing the Earth, and connection to others around the world in a way that accepts and embraces diversity. The camp is open to all regardless of religion or background. The Jewish Community Center of the Lehigh Valley states that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities and welcomes people from all walks of life, and is open to all regardless of sexual orientation or political beliefs. The JCC has been an integral part of the Lehigh Valley Jewish community since its founding in 1918. Camp JCC is affiliated with the Jewish Day Camp Network and lists Camp JCC Improvement Fund sponsors including Bonnie & Bobby* Hammel, Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley, Mark A. Klein*, Charles & Figa Kline Foundation, Harry C. Trexler Trust, Ferne & Jack* Kushner, John & Margaret Post Foundation, Monogram Custom Pools, Keystone Savings Foundation, Visions Federal Credit Union, and PNC Foundation (*In loving memory).
