Fernwood Christian Camp

Fernwood Christian Camp includes activities such as archery, pellet gun shoot, kayaking, swimming in an outdoor pool, hiking on trails, and several acres of land for fun-filled and crazy camp games. The program also includes Chapel services with preaching, conservative uplifting music, and a focus on character building as part of its camp weeks. Fernwood Christian Camp offers adventure-themed weeks that mix traditional camp with activities such as archery, pellet gun shoot, and kayaking, as well as a Day Camp for 2nd–3rd graders and a Teen Camp for 7th–12th graders.

Fernwood Christian Camp operates under the leadership of Bible Baptist Temple, with Cody Noseworthy serving as Director of Fernwood Christian Camp. Pastor Matt Ferguson, Pastor of Bible Baptist Temple in Campbell, Ohio, is listed in connection with the camp’s board leadership. In March of 2020, Fernwood Christian Camp came under the leadership of Bible Baptist Temple, which has held camp programs on the Fernwood grounds for nearly 20 years. The camp states that its mission is to provide a “getaway” from the everyday hustle and bustle of life to focus on God and His Word while also including crazy camp games, uplifting music, character building, and Chapel services, with the stated intention of investing in the lives of the next generation. The facility is available for rent for church events or a private week of camp, and the camp is working on a Camp Revitalization Project to update, remodel, and grow the facility, supported in part through mission giving partnerships.
