Saint Helena Youth Faith Programs

Saint Helena Youth Faith Programs include religious study courses, arts and crafts, recreation, athletic programs, and academic programs. Saint Helena vacation bible school (VBS) is a weekday program for rising Kindergarten through 5th grade students, and it is conducted by volunteers at Saint Helena during a week of summer vacation. The Saint Helena Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) is a parish-based academic and athletic program.

At Saint Helena Parish, the mission is to renew and rebuild the parish around heartfelt worship, meaningful community, and a clear path of discipleship, and to help parishioners grow closer to Christ by rediscovering the beauty of the Catholic faith. Saint Helena School states that it provides children with a Christ-centered education and strives to educate the whole child so they grow spiritually, academically, artistically, emotionally, and socially in a loving and learning environment. CCD is a religious education program that provides preparation for students who are not enrolled in Catholic school to receive the sacraments and have a foundation in the doctrine and spiritual life of the Catholic Church. Saint Helena CYO states that it allows youth to discover and grow in their relationship with God, provides opportunities to grow in faith and understanding of their Church, and helps them become responsible participants in their faith community through involvement in athletic and academic programs. CYO is described as a parish-based academic and athletic program that helps youth become responsible participants in their faith community through involvement in athletic and academic programs.
